Grit & Grace: My Hardest 11KM Run Yet đââď¸â¨

Last weekend, under the blinding, scorching sun of Distomo, I took on a personal challenge: an 11KM run.
Iâll be completely honest with youâit was the hardest run of my life.

The heat was overwhelming, the air felt like glass, and with every uphill climb, my body begged me to stop. There were times I felt like giving up. In reality, this was the first race where I had to slow down and walk for a few kilometers instead of running. And believe it or not, I even considered hitching a ride with the police car or an ambulance to reach the finish lineđ

the endlessly stretching road
I know it's not my limit; once you become lenient with yourself, you lose the desire to face challenges. However, sometimes the only way to achieve something is by enduring the difficult parts. So, I continued running. I crossed the finish line, receiving a lot of applause at the end.

receiving the medal makes it worthwhile

As I sat down, gasping for air and holding my medal, I looked down at my hands. Under the intense Greek sun, my Nailvana Press-on Nails were still perfectly intact, sparkling flawlessly without a single chip.
đââď¸ A Journey Map Written in Miles
This wasn't my first race, and it certainly won't be my last. Looking at my hands reminded me of all the beautiful paths Iâve conquered before. Every mile left a mark, and every race had its own "fingertip story."
